That is cool, and for only $5xx it looks like a killer deal. Wonder how it sounds/plays?

I must say that I am both a friend of Robert Godin and a small dealer (part time operation with my wife, more for the fun of it) for his guitars... So I could be perceived as ... you know... This haven been said. I love this guitars. It is unexpensive but a lot of fun to play. I had tried the prototypes and had fell in love with it. I am amazed of the quality for the price and the fact that he still produces his guitars here in America.

It seems I am not the only guy that love them... They are selling like hot cakes... I guess, it is a mixture of good quality for a very affordable price mixed to a great design.

But again, I am biased (hope it is the right word)

I'm expecting our first one in about 2 weeks. They had a little production glitch that's held them up for a few months but that's been solved.

Nice looking guitar! But the question is: is the top solid wood? They only say "molded".

That's a very cool, retro looking guitar. It would be great to hear from someone that owns or has played one....

I love archtops. This looks like a helluva deal! I would also love to hear a report from somebody who owns one of these babies. It looks nice, how does it play? How does it sound? Inquiring minds wanna know!

There is also an electric version of the 5th Avenue called the Kingpin that has a neck P90.

I'd love to get one. Godins are great guitars (see sig)...

Then I am skeptical, and disappointed. I played the new (cheap) laminate Gretsch archtop - and it was all midrange, quiet, and had no projection or personality.
