1951 Martin 000-28
Martin 1951 000-28: Gorgeously figured Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. Refinished. Beautifully articulate sounding guitar. Recent neck reset, compression refret, new bridge and pre-ban ivory saddle, replacement new Kluson aged tuners. Two very small top patches from where I had some wood filler removed (see pictures), presumably done during the refin. Correctly sized replacement bridge plate and bridge. There are two repaired pickguard cracks. One is on the curved shadow of what looks like an old oversized pickguard (pre-refinish). The other is about 10 cm to the left. K&K Pure mini with vintage jack. Pickguard is replaced but made from 1950's material. Great guitar to take out to a gig or jam and not worry about too much. Strung with medium strings. Nice low string height. I have owned this guitar for roughly 12 years. No structural issues at all. Ready to play and enjoy. Have bought and sold guitars here, on the UMGF as well as Ebay.
