WOW. Just WOW.

First of all, congrats on your Frog!!!!! They are truly magical instruments.

I am huge fan of the scrimshaws, and I think your scrimshaw might very well be the best one I've seen on a Frog. It's beautiful.

Play that beauty in good health!!!!

Default NGD: Custom Froggy Bottom H-12 Deluxe Rosewood

What a beauty! Congratulations. I have only played a couple of Froggies over the years but not the H model. I love an H-12 model and in the tone wood combo you have there, no wonder you are so happy with the outcome. Enjoy!
Best,
Jayne

Sometimes I feel the term “forever guitar” is thrown around too loosely, especially in this forum filled with GAS afflicted people.

That, however, seems to me to be a forever guitar (assuming the tone matches the aesthetics). Enjoy it in good health, it’s a stunner!

Brian, I was vacillating between the K and the H-12 until the last minute. I'm super psyched for you in advance. When I got my guitar yesterday I felt like I was on LSD, man.

Thanks! I also meant to mention the scrimshaw cap that looks great. I didn't think I'd want or care for one but once I got it I was glad I lucked into it, especially seeing how they are now getting scarce since she's mostly retired.

Yeah, I think people would have said the smart money was to get a used H12 for less, but the possibility to have Petria customize the heelcap was a big draw for me. In addition to having Michael work on it with the materials we discussed of course.
