Default New D'Addario gig pack

Just saw this. Looks pretty cool, although the price is a bit steep. What'd ya think?

Hey jklotz!
This is pretty cool, just saw it in Guitar Center today when I went to go pick up some strings.
The gig pack has a lot going on, but not only is it pricey, it is pretty heavy for a bag. I would estimate 5,6 lbs.

That is a really well designed bag. It's not a $200 bag, but it is really well designed. I really like that you can strap a mic stand on the side.

I'm a Player's Circle member. I wonder how many set of strings I would need to go through to get one of these.

Wow, $200 at Sweetwater. I used a laptop backpack and small hiking backpack for gigs before at a much lower price.

Here's a couple of the pics of the Gig Pack.

Makes sense if you have a lot of microphones, otherwise there are plenty of cheaper alternatives. My bass gig bags could fit several cables, strings, batteries, and the basic tools I'd need in a jam.

£251 UK on the D’Addario website - that’s the equivalent of ~$350 US - and shipping on top of that. For a rucksack.

Fuggeddit.

it's kind of like a backpack for photography gear where you can customize it a bit to work for each individual.

Good idea, but nothing I would need,, not even in the most obscure recurrence of GAS.
