PRS Pickups (electric guitar) - do you like them?

It's those little nuances that make a great solo. And those little nuances are harder to do well than most people realize.

Thanks for the tip and info I will put it my mental catalog of electric info . At this point I am not really comfortable or particularly inclined to make any DIY mods to the guitar or take to a luthier . In my limited electric experience, it is such a nice guitar to play as is, and volume knob is so smooth and scalable than the slight roll makes it so easily compensated for, as to be a pretty much a non issue at this point.

Okay, it reads like you need to get going down the amp rabbit hole unless you’ve started that journey and I’m not seeing it.

I have a 2001 PRS custom 24 w/ 10 top and those pickups are some of my favorites

I played my CE-22 with the Dragon II pickups on the week-end. Sounded better than I remembered. Must be the Traynor amp that's making them sounds nice .
