I was a wanna be,,, we inherited a 50's era Piper J 4 and a 60's Piper Comanche form my wife's father . I flew the Comanche a fair amount when a pilot friend could go along. We even bought a Hanger at a local small airport to house them . But with so many other recreational interest , I just never quite had both the time and money (at the same time) to purse getting a license So we eventually sold everything.

Morning, Kev... you're not alone. Pilot certificates take a while to get and are not inexpensive. It's pretty tough to fly for enjoyment or personal use. There are outstanding flight simulators though that we can use on our personal computers. They're much better than they used to be and are lots of fun.

I would love to, but I don't trust myself. My attention to detail isn't what it should be for such a thing. Arts guy. My engineering buddies I do trust and have gone flying with them a few times. Great fun.
