It's weird that I spend the weekends playing Blackmore and Perry and Rossington/Collins and Clapton and Beck and Page and the rest, but if I could play like one guitar player, it would be Ani.

So, story time:

Ani DeFranco is a Buffalo native and, along with the Goo Goo Dolls one of our proud music stars.

Her own record company is calle Righteous Babe Records.

She bought a very antique church on one of our prominent downtown streets, saving it's architecture. She turned it into an art gallery, venue, studio and named it Babeville.

You can't miss it every time you drive down Delaware Ave.
