I sure have enjoyed my slot headed Emerald. Never ending source of joy. Probably the prettiest headstock in the kingdom. Everyone comments on it. glad I added that to the order.
All that taunting done, and in the spirit of transparency, I've had two subsequent Emeralds without the slot heads, haven't missed them. But they sure are neat. |

I remember the first slotted head I saw made by Emerald.. Alistair brought it to NAMM a few years back and was a nylon. Paper Kitten I mean Martin Blanes played it.. was sooo nice to see that slotted head and feel it right there in my hands... was really really nice to look at... just sayin'.
