Combining Boss VE8 and Looper
Morning
Wondered if anyone had already combined the Boss VE-8 with a looper ? I was thinking of getting the VE8 for some vocal and acoustic effects almost as a mini battery powered mixer but have read the loop function is simple at best. I already own a Boss RC-500 so was hoping I could combine them but have noticed the VE8 has a stereo XLR output. Is this possible ? My speaker is a Bose SR-1 (also battery powered) so I can always be self sufficient. But this has a 1/4" jack/XLR mono input channels. If anyone has any other ideas for a battery powered set up would love to hear it doesn't seem the market is very big for this. I've been playing raw at home but want something to improve all aspects of my sound for live performance but small and easy to carry. Cole Clark TL, Fender Acoustasonic, Bose SR-1, Boss RC-500 |

You will get a much better response in the Acoustic Amplification section.
Lots of good discussions on this sort of gear there! Here is link https://www.acousticguitarforum.com/...splay.php?f=16 |

I can't imagine there would be much use for running a combined guitar / vocal output to a looper, though. You might be better off running your looper mono into one side of the VE8. Anything is do-able, you just have to figure out what you want to do and then figure out what equipment choice and routing will get you what you want. Last edited by Rudy4; 12-05-2022 at 08:47 PM. |
