Tim or Mary - apologies if this has been asked before. But, a few posts back Tim is shown packing the guitar up and at the last step putting the case into a large bag. Is that ... ahem ... a large 'trash' bag? Can I assume that it's an extra measure of 'moisture resistance' if the box gets wet and to stabilize humidity change during shipping ... etc?
Thanks!

Perhaps Yin will put a short review up after he has had a chance to acquaint himself with his new guitar? I know he is busy trying to get settled into his new apartment.

Yin: Put down the guitar. You need food. Sleep. Human companionship. And we need a review.

Generally speaking - This is the best guitar I've ever played.
I always like a guitar with no inlays to make it look simple but elegant. It's not easy to be achieved - most run into "simple and dull". But with ABW and KOA binding it's really candy in my eye. What a pleasure to sit and play after a busy workday!

The finish -
Very smooth and clear. Unlike some of the new guitars finish that feel cold and hard, this doesn't seems to affect any slight vibration at the very beginning. Also the satin neck is super comfortable and easy to play. I asked for the traditional round neck and the radius make the neck even more comfortable. The sound - Strongest & deepest bass of all guitar I've played. Extremely powerful when doing nail attacking on low string, it was like a bomb explosion - but entertains the ears. Trebles are loud, rich and clear, ring like bells. It didn't quite show up at the first day (perhaps due to super strong bass), but after a week playing the highs had stood out and elevate the whole sound of this guitar to a new level. The mid range is also good enough to make it an overall balance sounding guitar. Pretty good string separation and great sustain with very slow and smooth decay. Tim had fulfilled my expectations in every aspects (some even go beyond). If I could be 120% satisfied, this is it.

BTW, the saddle shim design is awesome - one can change string height without any adjustment on neck or saddle, just switch the shim and you're all set.

A very nice touch - Tim includes different thicknesses of Braz RW shims with his guitars. That's the kind of attention to detail one can expect when you order from Tim and Mary!!
