Default Everything Old is New Again!

As much as I would love to possess some of Julie Rosenberg’s artwork,
https://www.julierosenberg.com/shop the cost of ownership is just beyond me in my retirement’s fix income lifestyle. I’m pretty sure none of these guitars are bespoke models from Fender or Gibson, but rather some knockoff guitars with a few choice parts added, in the artists mind, to justify the very expensive buy in for her art.
She is very talented, and the attraction to me is a strong resemblance to “PETER MAX” who was the hippest poster artist of my generation.
Maybe just a truly slick pickguard to bring my black Strat up a notch?

EVH was handy with electrical tape and auto paint.
Those are outstanding examples of art work.
I inquired about having my Strat painted by a luthier who dies such art. He said $80 an hour with 5 hour minimum.
I thanked him and decided to pass.

Though not figurative, the Strat and SG pictured above remind me of the '60s guitars painted by "The Fool."

In the late 90’s Clapton commissioned custom painted guitars from a graffiti cat named Crash. They were MiamiVice/graffiti chic.
He(SlowHand) plays one a few songs at George Harrison's one year anniversary memorial service in 2001? Right in your wheelhouse, eh Jeff? Grab a spray can and get to work!!!

Everything Old is New Again! Yep. Even the sixty-nine year old B-52 is slated for a refresh involving Rolls Royce high-bypass turbofans, a new glass cockpit, new electronic systems, and...

They are returning to the original, clean, 1950s nose! Everything old is new again. Here's projection of the look:

The B-52H series will be upgraded and called the B-52J. Cool, huh?
