Here is somebody being just incredibly good at something
Even if you don't know much about the game (as I don't) I think you'll get that this is something special to see.

In many sports there is often lively debate about who is the GOAT. That's not the case with snooker.
Ronnie is universally acknowledged to be on a different level to any other player, past or present. I'm a snooker fan and have watched him play for thirty years. He's currently ranked number 1 at the age of 47. An age at which most players are far past their best. He is a mercurial talent and has talked about his battles with depression and drugs. Early in his career both his parents were in prison. In his father's case for murder, as he was involved in London's gangland culture. Last edited by Silurian; 01-29-2023 at 04:29 AM. |

I love Snooker. Used to play with my horn section 3 or 4 times a week when in town.

Although I love and have played pocket billiards for many years (14 and 1 was my favorite game), I've never played or even known the rules of snooker, but I've always been interested in it.
This was an incredible demonstration of shot-making and cue ball control! Thanks for posting!!!

I use to enjoy snooker as a teenager. Our local pool hall in Don Mills (North York, Toronto), had Cliff Thorburn working/playing there, back in the mid to late ‘70’s. I actually watched him on a early summer afternoon clear the table almost three times in a row including the breaks; no one else around at the time to see. He sold me my pool cue, I think it’s still around in the basement somewhere.
