Nice! You do get some amazing views where you live.

My buddy Travis at Fort Ord during a break in the rain. It's the only place we can mountain bike without tearing up the trails with all this rain and flooding, as the ground is mostly sand. Great day out and a nice break from the weather.

Very nice, Paul!

I can see the north end of the Sangre Dees from my guitar room. Funny, sometimes they look to be 500 miles away, when in fact they are about 40 miles away.

But some days they look like I could reach out and touch them. Yesterday was one of those days, and they were a very pretty blue until sunset.

Lots of crazy lenticular clouds lately. They seem to form up over the Hwy. 50 canyon.

Took another shot at the moon, but this time I used my telescope instead of my zoom lens. Night and day. Telescope is 1250mm and I added a 5x Barlow to the eyepiece and attached the camera to it. This is very close to what I can see through my telescope with a 12mm eyepiece.

I was trying to get a moon pic with Jupiter right next to it last week, but I was plagued with clouds. Looks like the full moon will be very close to mars, but mars is not big and bright enough.

Lots going on in the night sky right now. Too bad I only have my cell phone camera.

What I like about this photo is that you can't really see the moon or the mountain, but you know that they are there.

Sunrise this morning, 8" of new snow yesterday. Looks like 4 coyotes were hunting along this road overnight.

I have not been out with a camera for ages - Minnesota winter tends to do that to folks who are not terribly into the Great Outdoors.

However, after this week’s Snowmageddon, I spotted something on the deck tonight, and grabbed a shot.

Default Great Post

I wonder how many of us also have Photography as our other hobby. I like taking pictures of guitars. Go figure. Here is one I took today of an old Gibson I am restoring.
