Anybody watch Midnight Mass?
Not really my genre, kind of creepy, but pretty good.

Been watching The Durrells in Corfu series on Prime. A whimsical tale of a British family that moved to the Greek island of Corfu in the 1930s. Based on the non-fiction book written by one of the family members about their experiences, it features a great cast including Keeley Hawes and Josh O'Connor.
Also, just watched the first episode of Only Murders In The Building. It's an original Hulu comedy/drama series featuring Steve Martin and Martin Short. First episode was entertaining and intriguing. I'll be watching more.

Been getting through a lot of Star Trek TNG whilst I should be studying for my masters. On one of my favourite episodes: Darmok.
Darmok and Jalad at Tanagra. Shaka when the walls fell! |

Great! I've been in IT project/program management for a couple decades (started out as a developer) and have a masters as well (MBA). I imagine IT vs Construction is very different although there would be similarities when it comes down to the PM triangle of scope/cost/time and risk/issue management.
A little OT but what's part of the core program? Are different construction techniques taught, i.e. foundation vs roofs vs etc? Different building techniques or is it all on management? |

There is some technical aspect to the course in terms of construction technology but not to the same extent as my bachelors degree which was Quantity Surveying (closest American equivalent may be cost control engineering). Much of the course revolves around contracts, risk management and value engineering, procurement and project management. My elective courses are spatial planning and real estate management. |

Just finished watching the second season of 'Another Life' - it was probably better than season 1. A few plot holes here and there, but overall, I enjoyed it. |

I watched Montford: The Chickasaw Rancher on netflix- based on the story of Montford T. Johnson https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6704894/-
The credits at the end told when and where the characters lived and died- I like stories like this one- |

Just watched the first episode of the new Dexter series. I was a fan of the older version and think New Blood has promise.
I just finished Season 2 of Baptiste and thought that was great. |

I read about the new Dexter series this morning. I watched the series a few years ago and it was fantastic. I'm looking forward to watching this one when the season is done and then I'll pay to stream it.
