ScReAmIn' tReBeLs!
Some things we make come with the voice you expect right out of the gate, some things take some time to develop their voice. My newest creation is the perfect example of this. Currently sings/screams with a focus in the trebels... great sustain too. But since my first listen, I have been researching how to get a fuller sound. I have discovered a process that should help round out the tonal spectrum and give a bit fuller low end- though it is a slow process- puberty!

OK Chris--This has to go into the AGF Hall of Fame for all-time great posts, and if there is a separate category for beautiful babies I nominate it for that as well! Life has a way of catching up with us, and what better way to balance out a guitar than with a human voice, even a tiny one. Thanks for sharing! --Richard

I don't know, seems like kind of a weird bracing pattern to me, the cross braces look kinda thick to get much treble response, but your the luthier you ought to know best!!!
Congrats, what a handsome fella....

I never had one of those instruments, but I've heard from friends and family that the low end can be quite messy for a few years.

Congratulations! I just picked up a similar model a couple months back. Mine's destined to keep all her trebles I'm afraid. I know you'll be having some late night jam sessions, if you need someone to talk to I'll be up as well.
All the best |

Congrats! I've had two in two years, so it's been insane. Check out two books that saved my sanity: "12 hours by 12 weeks" and "the happiest baby on the block" the first is about sleep and the second soothing. Huge helps. Last but not least, if you're listening to lullabies, check out "Rock A By Baby". A bunch of rock songs turned into soft lullabies, so you can sing along in your head and not go crazy on Barney reruns.

My baby girl is leaving me this year and moving in with her BF. It went by fast, just like they said it would. Except for the first three or five months or so, which I have completely forgotten to the best of my ability. How I will miss her. Congratulations and enjoy it.

oh geez, you really stepped in it now, my friend.
i've got a bunch of those, and talk about finicky sound makers! one minute you're holding on for dear life, never wanting to let it go, and the next minute you're scratching your head about how frustrating it is to get through a simple song! then the next thing you know, it's a pure symphony that makes the world go around forever for you and you'll wonder how anyone could ever go through life without one.
