Default Shure GLXD16 Wireless.

I have just purchased this wireless system and it’s excellent. Built like a tank, works flawlessly with awesome onboard tuner. Can’t hear any lag either. The batteries are rechargeable and when fully charged they last about 16 hours. Replacement batteries are not too expensive.

It’s not cheap but it’s rock solid and like all Shure products it’s obviously going to last. Really pleased with it.

I was contemplating the Sennheiser system but I don’t like the idea that when the batteries die you throw the whole thing away.

I totally agree with the point about the Sennheiser system. They look great and all, but knowing lithium ion batteries - they are not likely to last beyond 3-4 years if a musician uses them frequently!

I've got the Shure system too. It's killer.

I have been using that system for a few years now with my bass guitar, works like a charm.
