Default "The Round" A Tribute To Jerry Riopelle...

Jerry Riopelle was a HUGE draw in the Phoenix Metro area for many decades. Bill Compton, from the Free Form KCAC and later the powerhouse Free Form KDKB gave him much play from the mid 70's until the station was sold and went AOR and Bill died in an automobile accident.

Jerry continued doing New Years Concerts in the Celebrity Theatre (in the round) and would actually have much larger acts open FOR HIM he was so big in the Valley. A great writer and he also had a very talented lead guitarist named David Plenn.

An original song paying tribute to a great writer, singer and performer who passed last Christmas eve.

You are just awesome. So Randy Newman. Your vocals, the blues... your style. If I were in your town I’d beg to be Ed mc Mahon to your Johnny.
