Thanks for this suggestion to keep panels to a practical size.

I framed my panels with the aluminum L angle stock that is typically used for drop ceiling installations. It edges the insulation under the fabric. The field of a drop ceiling uses stock that is T in cross section. You want the stock that goes around the perimeter of the ceiling where it meets the wall. It's cheap, light, and assembles pretty easily with just tin snips and pop rivets. Worked out great for 703/705. When I need to build some more, I'll do the same.

If you want a 'dead' sound, for sure. Foam absorbs the high frequencies, and it's abosrption specs diminish as the frequency goes down. For voice, what you end up with is a very boxy sound with no 'air' (high end sparkle).
