Thanks for the detailed write up. I do some writing/recording but its not at your level. It's nice to see how the pros do it. I'm listening on Bandcamp right now - it sounds fantastic.

I was struck by how similar your CD page is to another guitarists page that I recently visited. I'm assuming this a common Bandcamp theme:

That's the *only* bandcamp theme :-) I do wish they offered a bit more flexibility, but the features work so nicely, it's hard to complain.

Doug,
Thanks for all the info. I really pay attention to your posts as it seems like you've had the opportunity to try a large majority of equipment and you seem to seek the highest quality you possibly can.

I'm always trying to create the very best music I possibly can and your posts have been very helpful.

Keep it up.

Smile Thanks for the write-up Doug

Thanks for the great write-up Doug. It was really informative. Your newest CD is certainly one of the "reference" CD's I will use to compare my own recordings to.

Since you mention metering in your post, I thought I'd pass this on. The new iZotope Ozone 5 Advanced has some great new metering features for mixing and mastering. I'm sure you'll want a copy once you see what it can do. They have an introductory price of $599 until Jan. 2 (reg. $999). If you already have v4, I'm sure the price is lower. I plan to pick up a copy myself. Here is a link:
