Default amp that sounds like the Roland CM-30 monitor

Hi all,

I have a Roland Cube CM-30 Monitor and an Roland AC-33. I've been playing around with both for direct in guitar and mic'd vocals (together). I like the clean sound of the CM-30 a lot, more than the AC-33. I got the AC-33 for gigging/busking. What amp can I get that sounds like the CM-30, with controls for each input? Portability would be nice too (battery operated like the AC-33).

I've never heard the CM-30, but if you want a battery powered, portable amp/pa that sounds like a studio monitor check out Sunburst Gear.

I have two CM 30 monitors and love them. Sometimes I use them linked together for certain venues. I also use a Bose Compact for larger rooms but it is 5X the cost of the Roland CM 30 monitors and needs a mixer for a duo or larger.

I often use one of my CM-30's as a guitar amp. Sounds just like a CM-30.

No, The Cube Monitor 30 is designed to do triple duty as powered monitor, mini-PA, and amp.
