Default Bashkin 00 12 fret - LS Redwood and Mahogany

Michael Bashkin is currently finishing off a 12 fret, with slotted headstock, LS Redwood top and Mahogany B&S.

This will be my second Bashkin, to complement my 4 year old Placencia.

Here are some
few photos:

Headstock

African Blackwood Binding

From the back

The top (honduran rosewood rosette)

Being finished

Looking forward playing it!

Russ

Hey Russ - nice choices!! John Mayes is finishing a 00 LS topped mahogany for me as well! Although mine's a 14 fret.

Nice mahogany inlay on the end graft!

Best,

Phil

Beautiful!!! I can’t wait to hear how the Mahogany complements the Redwood. What is the binding? ABW?

Yet another stunning Bashkin in the making...

(Mike, the binding is ABW - correct)

Definitley looking forward to the Sydney AGF festival, they'll be some guitar guitars on show. I'm interested in trying out you Brondel.

It's getting too cold today!

Oops, I may have exaggerated... just a little. Welshruss and I previously made contact and are going to catch up some time to check out each other's guitars... we live pretty close to each other. I'm afraid that's the grand extent of the "Sydney unofficial AGF festival". Having said that, if you're willing to fly to Sydney you'd be more than welcome to come visit.... Sorry for any mix-up. Cheers, berf

No worries, I was sure that was the case.

I'll keep your more than generous offer in mind, if that's ok?

Absolutely... no worries. Just PM me if you're coming to town.

Sorry for the deviation welshruss... back to the beautiful Bashkin build thread.

Looking sweet under finish! The mahogany showing a bit of quilting it looks like.

Nice!
