I'm guessing they were both cracking up about 3 seconds after the shutter clicked....

Sometimes I do laugh at his "looks." Occasionally I want to give the look right back at him.

Young children have been scared of him, but for one reason or another he has never scared me away. Gee, where would I run to? Mom would hug me and send me right back home. Other than her house, I wouldn't go much farther than the patio when I need to run away.

Seriously, take a quick look at his watch. Our shop rule is that at 8:00 we go back to the office until all e-mails are caught up. It was pert near 8:00 PM according to his watch.

Got a big pile of pics from Tim and Mary tonight......I'll hit the highlights here. The first two are Tim pre-fitting the back to the box....

Here he's cutting the body to our agreed depth (I'm such a pain in the butt!!)

hand sanding the inside of the box...

cut and sanded and waiting for the new lining.....

He's also braced the back and it's under the go-bar.

THANKS SO MUCH for getting this going for me!!! You two are the best!!!

Getting excited!!

Tonight he is working on BK's guitar, but the weekend is soon coming and you will get your turn again.

That's too bad this had to be done after the kerfing was already in (from what I hear, that capped kerfing is a bit of work). I assume it was originally made with the 4 5/8" Sierra body depth; what is the depth going to be now?

Tim and Mary are such goofballs....

So I'm sitting here watching U of M and MSU (fave game of the year - green and white guy!) with my Osage on my lap and the doorbell rings....

Not expecting anything, but there's a large, flat box on my porch.

It could only be one thing.....my new air guitar (aka the part Tim cut off from my new geetar)

I thought you'd like this one of a kind air guitar. Owning a real air guitar has advantages.

It's much cheaper on strings. It never goes out of tune. You can magically play ANY tune perfectly the first time, every time. You can play it as loud as you want to when you feel like a hard rocker and it will never bother those pesky neighbors. You can also play it like a harp if you are so inclined.

When you are done playing with it for the afternoon it takes no special case for storage. Just hang it by a single nail and there is no fuss over silly scratches and dings.

See, I've got your back, Todd. I've got your back.

So, how long does it take for an air guitar to open up?
