I'm not really sure what you mean by spy tech, but the coding and technology from era you mention is almost always a spy's or thief's dream. If you follow the easy basics with an iPad you don't just get a product with reliability I wish we had all over. You get a very easy and secure schema for backup. I love my acoustic playing with no technology beyond the guitar and a chair but that's just for minutes at a time. My age is a constant reminder of how much I love technology. I'd be dead without dentistry and eyeglasses. I bike commute when I can but today am really glad I have one of those station wagon thingies they invented. Making lunch was SO much easier with the gas stove.

The app uses a format called 'Chordpro' - the explanation is here: https://linkesoft.com/songbook/chordproformat.html This site shows you all the typed commands for the format and what they do. You can work in Word, save as a .txt file and go from there. Link your iPad to a Dropbox account through the app and drop in .txt files from your computer which can convert to Chordpro. Easy, and all your tunes are backed up in your Dropbox. Also they can be shared with other musicians in this way. Here's a visual guide I cooked up: [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] Let me know if this is helpful or if there is something else I can add to make it clearer.
