Larry,

Sounds terrific, "musically emotional", beautiful!!

The only thing that would make that better would be an OM......kidding

Well done my friend!!

Yes I wonder how much greater it would sound with a longer scale...

That's a beautiful piece, Larry.

As always, awed by your mastery of the guitar and by the real depth and richness of your playing and musical interpretation.

Love this Larry, I also bought a Larrivee Parlor once... stopped only by the thought that there is no more space on my guitar rack!

Spectacular!
Though I have read your posts (Larry) for some time I had never listened to you play. Now that I know what I have been missing I'll be looking and listening for more of your work.Just terrific.
If I could could play with 1/10 the ease and beauty that you do I would feel like I had accomplished something from all my practice.
As it is, it's good to have role models. ;-)

Thanks for posting.

...and then I would end up injured, and unable to play for months!

We're all on the same path...different points along the path, perhaps, but working to make better music on the guitar.

NO problem whatsoever in tuning down with the 24" scale.

I upgraded to the full-sized Gotoh 21:1 Delta tuners...love them. Smooth and accurate.

Hey Larry

Beautiful playing!!!!

I need to change the tuners on mine.....did the original screw holes lineup for the Gotoh's?

No, but the tuner's larger foot-print covered almost all of the old screw hole.

Wow!! Beautiful playing and the guitar sounded amazing. The song went well with the "Quinault" area...simply beautiful.

Larry,
That was a beautiful composition! Sweet playing, too. That Larrivee is capable of making lots of nuanced tones.

Very nice for this style of music. Also a Taylor 12 fret which is a GC body style would sound nice

I really liked this piece a lot. Do I hear a tiny little bit of Kottke "shortwave" influence in this?

Thanks again, guys.

SSS, I listened to a lot of Kottke back in the day, but don't know the piece you referred to...I just went to youtube, and don't get much of a connection!

Sorry should have prefaced that not the piece in general. I actually like your piece better than shortwave. It more of what I like to play but I was referring to what I hear in the bass accent notes. It reminded me of what Kottke did in shortwave. See 1:42-43 of your vid. Only a couple notes but Kottke did that type of nuance quite a bit. I tend to listen to pieces over and over and after a while I tend to focus on these little nuances. On a new piece (to me) I like to see if I can hear influances in the music. Usually I dont have direct access to ask the artist. Apparently it was not an influence but it still reminded me of it.
