SOLD - 1980 Martin D-35 - excellent condition - Needs nothing
SOLD locally.
Amazingly well preserved 1980 Martin D-35. The top, back, and sides are in excellent condition and it has an average type of play wear. Very light scratches and tiny dings, but honestly that's about it. The finish is original. There are NO repaired cracks anywhere on the guitar - which is pretty hard to find! Gorgeous EIR waiving three-piece back with almost no scratches at all that I can find. Maybe microscopic ones. Tuners are super smooth and in excellent working condition. The sound is crystal clear, deep and resonant. No muddiness or woofiness at all. This particular guitar has tons of sustain. There is an input jack at the endpin in case you want to install a pickup. I am no expert, but nut and saddle are not original, but everything else seems to be. It comes with the non-original hardshell case as seen in the pictures. This guitar is fully opened up and needs nothing. It is clean inside out. You won't be disappointed. Some trades are considered: D-18GE, D-16 Adi, custom Martin dreds (prefer mahogany). I would also consider M-36/38. Let me know what you have.
