Very true, most but not all ... Pity I would pump it right back into the economy and use it to get to great switching and high end power supply for my electric guitar pedal board

Not everyone is getting the $1200.00, it’s based on household income. Unfortunately most households that will qualify for the $ will most likely need it to make ends meet while they await the economy to rebound.

The plan is for individuals to get up to $1,200 and married couples to get up to $2,400, including $500 for each child. The size of a check would diminish gradually for those whose income is above $75,000, while individuals earning more than $99,000 and couples earning more than $198,000 will not be getting any checks. The checks will be based on a household or individual’s 2018 tax return unless they filed their 2019 tax return, in which case it will be based of their 2019 return...

All that free money will have to be paid back in some manner in the future. Higher taxes by somebody sometime. Plus there is a real reason this is being done. You'll understand when those reasons become our reality.

Default Hmmmmmm.....

6L6 Frankly, there are so many great USED guitars available that are going unsold, I see that supply of great used guitars only getting bigger as boomers die off. And prices will only go down.

I'm of the same mind. Even among my acoustic buddies the trend I see currently is expansion into other musical realms and instruments...and we're all 70+. My nephews and nieces have kids that are into electric guitars and amps. Kind of a rebirth of my guitar travels in the early 60's. A likely scenario is places like Guitar Center go into sale mode to get some cash flow started.
