I'm a big fan of Daniel Bachman's - River which is more in American Primitive John Fahey style.

Chet Atkins and Mark Knopfler "Neck and Neck"

A really wonderful super laid back and elegant album.

Pretty much all Daniel Bachman's stuff is great. They go back almost 10 years.

In no particular order...

Michael Hedges - Arial Boundaries
Pierre Bensusan - Intuite
Bert and John - Bert Jansch and John Renbourn
Snap a Little Owl - John Renbourn and Stefan Grossman
Live - Leo Kottke
Slow Down - Isaac Guillory

Should get you started!

Can’t recommend “White Mountain Journal” by Keola Beamer highly enough. Hawaiian slack-key fingerstyle by one of the giants of the tradition. Not only is he an impeccable player, he’s also a master composer and arranger.

Richard Ruskin is very clear and precise and has great arrangments of older and his own songs. His first album, self titled, is great
