I want to learn how to make a virtual
band video. Like this
playing for change Video.
https://youtu.be/55s3T7VRQSc
My band is on covidhiatus.
I think it would be fun to
make a social distant vid.

I work from home (IT tier 3 support for a number of Applications)...

So it's business as usual for me at this point.

What an ambitious notion. Considering it involves having a significant amount of competency in all the major aspects of music video.

The entire "Playing for change" series and format is pretty cool.
Arguably it is one of the most difficult formats to pull off effectively.
For one it takes having a number of talented musicians who can or have access to having decent recording and video done.

The ingredients would seem to be.
#1 the musical talent and being able to play along and gel with the performance other musicians playing remotely.
#2 Good video equipment and skill in using it
#3 Good recording equipment and the skill to use it.
#4 Good mixing equipment and the skill to use it.
#5 Good video editing ability.

Seems like it would take one person to assume the roll of "producer" to oversee the project, come up with the arrangement, gather all the video footage and music files, be able to do it themselves or get them to a mix engineer and video editing person, and make the final calls on mix and video editing. At the very least .

Note I am not attempting to dissuade you, in fact I say go for it

The one thing that never would have happened without this virus, is my son taught our dog to play basketball.

The dog can't shoot (that would be a bit much), but he bats away rebounds and can steal the ball with his paws as you dribble. He plays good defense, sticking between the ball and basket. The one rule is that the dog has to have a stick or toy in his mouth, to keep him from puncturing the ball.

It's pretty funny.

I told my son that this was very clever but we can stop here, ie, I don't want to find any paw marks on my guitar....

+1. I'm running out of peanut butter M&Ms and I won't make it to the store until Monday when I'm done with my 14 day quarantine.

Looks like a QC issue. I would expect the Hershey mold pieces to be oriented with the wrapper branding.

I see that most are still socialising. Hasn't this been stopped yet?

I note that only madhat mentioned exercise. Just sayin'

Our daughter has a pit bull and he can't open his mouth wide enough to get sufficient leverage/grip to puncture a basketball - just what kind of dog do you own...?

What is this “staying home” thing you speak of?

I still have to work all day, Monday through Friday.
I come home to an empty house, well almost empty,
my dear cat greets me at the door every evening.
