Default New song from Bob Dylan

It's not really a new song but he just put it out. I just listened to it and think it's pretty cool;

17 minutes long but, heck, we've got a lot of time one our hands!

It reminds me of ''It's not dark yet'' maybe it's from those sessions.

Some how, I think that if people want a 17 minute song, they'll be yelling for "Freebird!" and not this.

Or “American Pie”. Actually, I haven’t listened to it yet, so I’ll reserve judgement.

Not exactly my cup of tea but it is great that he is still releasing new material. Well done!

I listened to it... I'd give it a 3.5 on a 10 scale 'cause you can't dance to it...!!!

Seriously, I liked it... very dark but the title sort of gives that away... reminded me a bit of Van Morrison's song where he goes on a bit of a rant in a quasi-mystical fashion, but Bob's is far less "musical" to me, whereas Van's a Master of that sound. Still, I like and appreciate the "spoken word" type of songs, although I think it's more poetry with music than a song...

It is wonderful that Bob Dylan is still with us, still putting out unreleased material, still writing and recording. The man has been an integral part of the musical landscape of my entire life, from about age 11 or so...

It's a really good thing that so many artists are putting out little concerts and videos during this whole situation with the COVID-19... for the famous ones, I know there's frequently a LOT of $$$$$ involved with their music, but really? Not one important artist that I can name has been in it solely for the money, but more to get the songs out of them and in the air where folks can hear them and feel them...

Once again I'm thankful I don't come here for the music reviews.

Not something I'd enjoy past the 3:00 minute mark, but I've never been a big Dylan fan.

The Dylan album I like the most, is probably the least acclaimed, so obviously I'm not a highly credentialed critic.

Huge Dylan fan, but this is the worst Dylan song I’ve ever heard. To each their own.

Just listened. I appreciate it in a Leonard Cohen kinda way.

I like his voice in this recording, but the lyrics seem flat and expected — not a great quality in a Dylan song. And with the music here amounting to little more than a background, the lyrics have to carry all the weight. I think the above comparison to Cohen is apt, but certainly nowhere near that artist’s biting, ironic and revealing best.

I do love Dylan, though, including his later work, which has been a lovely artistic renaissance for him....especially after most of his 80s and 90s stuff.
