#73 for me: NL00 Walnut/Lutz.
New one to be shipped probably next week, don't know the build # : AJ Figured Padauk/Torrified Lutz.
The NL00 is pretty much my go-to out of all my guitars. I thought that would change after the honeymoon phase, but it hasn't. I've had the guitar for over a year now and it still thrills me every time I pick it up.

This might be my favorite Halcyon aesthetically. The wood choices really go well together. I'm looking forward to your samples, especially since NL is one of my favorite shape/styles.

Ditto on both points. The NL is my fav aesthetically. Like a beautiful curvy woman. The wood selection is right in my wheelhouse. Somewhat ordinary looking, and the more you look you find its anything but.

Is yours the one that has mostly brown with splashes of red? If so, I LOVE that piece of wood. An absolute knockout

Number 74 is mine. Lovely drednought, engelmann top, flamed walnut back and sides.

Pics guys. There are not enough on Halcyon's website.

It's just plain cruel to tell us about flamed walnut.

I miss that stash. I have this terrible problem. I love acquiring beautiful wood, but when it's gone, it's gone, and I no longer have it. Can't have your wood and build with it too, I guess. Some stunning Padauk nearing completion soon as well...

BTW, our FB page is the best place to see pics of builds present and past...

I think there were some Padauk builds on Ed's FB page a long way back 1.5 year?), you'll have to dig. Where I learned more about it (and many other tonewoods) was here: http://tonewooddatasource.weebly.com...tails-n-q.html with pictures o this page: http://tonewooddatasource.weebly.com...hotos-n-p.html. Do some web searches for Belucci classical also. Cool red tint.

At some point or another, I've looked through all of the Halcyon pics i think. More of a curiosity. My build is pretty well set, but curiosity is still curiosity.

I've got number 80. It's a Ovangkol/Lutz dreadnaught. Very nice guitar, I get lots of compliments and the Ovangkol is very nice looking too. I've got a second on order, I hope to have it in my hands in the next 4-6 weeks or so. It's a NL-00 Rosewood/Torrified Lutz.

Once I get the NL-00 in my hands I'll take some pics of both and post an OGD/NGD thread.

Cheers.
