I think, "All Along the Watchtower". Or the Grateful Dead doing "Roll away the Dew" (Franklins Tower) . Seems it would be fun to plug in right and go!

Can't deny that she's got some pretty remarkable vocal chops.

I bet your dad used to say that about your music.

Just because you can doesn't necessarily mean you should. All the years I was using a sequencer for bass and drums I'd have people coming and telling me that I could have it playing much more than I was using it for. I told them the same thing, and that the proper job of technology was to back me up, not front the band.

She'd sound much better with a band, but her choice.

I think that's pretty cool! I certainly don't have that level of talent and I find it impressive that she was able to add all those different layers on the fly.

I wouldn't expect members of an Acoustic Guitar Forum to like it but I found it interesting. It's a good departure from the typical I-IV-V strumming songs I typically play.

Thanks for sharing!

There's a guy here locally who does this stuff minus the dancing. He is quite good and his vocals are as well... does a lot of cool covers.
He is very entertaining and enjoyable.
Hey, for all those who don't care for it, it's a dang sight better than watching some 15 year old boy shred for an hour.

A little different than Roy Orbison, eh?

The engineers and musicians at Korg etc. who designed all the electronics are very very talented people.

She gets no credit for that very important part of what we hear.

Anyone can buy gear, or a CD player for that matter.

It was good, she's talented. She is definitely carving her own niche in the looper performance category.

That being said, I personally think Ed Sheeran does better and with far less equipment.

Well you've got to know how to use the gear. Isn't that like hearing a solo acoustic guitarist and claiming they get no credit for the sound because that guitar was designed by a very talented luthier, not the guitarist? But the guitarist has to employ the right technique in order to get the most out of it, so although that sound wouldn't be heard without the luthier, neither would it be heard without the skilled player.

With electronics, you have to know where to set the levels and make everything work together for an overall good sound.

I don't see it as a contest of who gets credit for what, but just acknowledge it takes multiple people with different talents to make the world go 'round, so to speak.

Way too frenetic and distracting for me. Not my style of music, either. Music is art, and I don't get some art.

Oh, boy! Another looper act. I bailed before she got it all together. It was taking too long and I lost interest.
