Normally I don't care for what I guess you would call a "printed" finish, but I agree that is pretty cool looking, especially with the black textured pic guard, very classy

That is so cool, Stephen! What's the name you put on the headstock? (I was unable to find anything on google).

Default So what's a telecaster?

If it doesn't say Fender or Squier on the head stock is it a Telecaster? What about Leo Fender's other company G&L and their ASATs?

For me only Fenders. There are others who make Martin D18 type guitars but it isn’t a D18 to me. It’s only a model name but it belongs to a certain brand. Other companies can make a cola that tastes just like a Coke or something that tastes “better” but it will never be a “Coke” or “Coca Cola”. Lee Iacocca could have made a Mustang like pony car at Chrysler but it would never be considered a Mustang without the Ford badge.

MIM La Cabronita semi hollow Tele. OEM body and electronics with Warmoth neck. Not really a Tele, IMO but it's a cool guitar. The stock pickups actually surprised me in the quality of their tone. As with my other electrics, it rarely gets played anymore. I really love the headstock decal.

I agree with this. Copies are just that- wannabe,s! Someone taking another’s idea, research and marketing development to cash in. Buy the real thing or don t imply that it is.
