Thanks... it does look nice and sound great for basically no money.
Thanks Dru. Yeah, I guess it adds mojo. If they weren't chips it would be more "mojoish" though. As I said, I really don't care much. I mean if the guitar was 10x's more expensive, I would. But, I love the way it sounds. It's really crunchy and dirty.

I have a Harley Benton blue LP DC JR on order. The blue is a custom order. It will probably be June-July before I get it. I don't plan ahead to make any changes. A small change will probably be a significant % of the price. I will give it a good few months playing time to see how things go.
BTW; the back of the head stock in the pic of the guitar I ordered says "made in Indonesia." I don't think this means made in China or it would says so. Of course I don't know for sure.

Congrats! I have 3 HBs, an SC450 and SC400, both with the goldtop finish, and a TE 52 with the natural finish. The two Lp clones are both very nice, my 450 has P 90s and the 400 has the uncovered humbuckers. I don’t play the P90 one much because I have a couple other guitars with those, but the 400 plays like butter and I really dig the stock pickups, they’re different than any of my other humbucker guitars. The TE52 is simply amazing for the $130 or so it cost, 20 years ago I never would have imagined being able to get a nice guitar for that kind of money! It’s just a gorgeous guitar, and is built like a tank, way heavier than either of the LP clones.

One last bump from me on these.
I have a Eastman SB59v which is absolutely amazing for humbucker type sounds... that middle range sound from humbuckers. I play it a lot. But, even though it's apples and oranges, the Harley Benton P90 gold top is just as fun to play for the other type of single coil sound. Anyhow, I still play that guitar almost daily. I HIGHLY recommend getting one if you don't want to spend thousands on an actual LP or even hundreds on other P90 guitars. It sounds really good, still.

Nice score on those 3 Rob.
Those are pretty sharp looking guitars. If I wasn't able to find good quality used guitars in my neck of the woods for AMAZING prices, I'd probably look into Harley Benton's. I was able score these 3 in the past year for a total $312.37. '09 USA Fender Highway 1 Honey Blonde Tele ($100) '88 USA Carvin D127 ($92.37 ) '96 MIJ Fender Sonic Blue Jagstang ($120)

Kinda hard to beat a USA Carvin for $92. I've been seeing A LOT guys posting the HB's, and it got me very interested in auditioning one in person. I'm hoping to eventually see a few used HB's on my local CL, FB Marketplace, or pawnshops. This way I'll be able to check one out for $50 or so, and if I can't bond with it, I'll at least be able to get my money back.
