Limited run of 300. It is in good condition, but shows signs of love including normal dings and scuff marks for its age. Pay special attention to the finish wear on the upper right bout and moved strap pin (see pics). Body Shape: Dreadnought Finish: Antiqued Gloss Body Material: Solid Indian Rosewood Top Material: Solid Sitka Spruce Body Details: Tortoise pickguard, multi-layered top trim and rosette, forward shifted bracing Neck Material: Mahogany Fingerboard Material: Ebony Neck Details: C profile, snowflake position markers Headstock: Ebony Overlay Nutwidth: 1 3/4" Bridge: Pyramid Ebony UPGRADES - Upgraded Waverly vintage open-back installed by Fullers Guitar in Houston L.R. Baggs Anthem installed by Rockin' Robin guitars in Houston. There is some finish wear on the upper right bout (pictured), but it is not spreading and does not hit the wood. The strap lock was moved to the proper position from the back of the neck joint (pictured). Includes OHSC. Interested in trades for similar quality acoustic with cutaway. I need access past 14 - that's what the finish wear on the upper right bout is from. Normally not a fan of EIR bodied guitars, but played one of these from 2010 a while ago and ended up buying it. The pyramid bridge and forward shifted bracing gives this dread a unique sound.
Other nice features include the rosewood bindings, ebony pins and heel cap instead of black plastic, snowflake fretboard inlays instead of dots, and the herringbone rosette and back stripe. The vintage toner Martin used on the top looks great too. Best of luck with the sale. Nice guitar.

Had one, sold it, dumb move.
5 years later found one, bought it on the spot, not selling again. These are really special and don’t seem to come up very often anymore. don’t confuse these with the other later D21 Specials. Good luck

Can’t believe this hasn’t sold. This is a quality dread. I almost bought one years ago... should have! Now I’m looking at this one wondering, why did I blow this quarters guitar budget on another electric last month?!?
