Anyone see Elvis live?
Just reading one of his biographies, "Last Train to Memphis" and the descriptions of the audiences when he was starting out made me wish I was there. So, being the curious one, have any of you seen Elvis perform live?

Yep. Saw him in Vegas in '74 ish. Was there with my folks. What I remember was him wearing scarfs. He'd shimmy up to all the 50 blondes planted in the front row and lean over and they'd rip off his scart. He'd then shimmy back and get another, then repeat. I remember waiting in line for hours too.

He must travel from Walmart to Walmart around the country , becasue i think i saw him at ours as well !
Im betting walmart is paying him to do the visits in secret to drive up the hysteria at their stores !

I saw him in concert at Madison Square Garden in NYC, also around 1974. It was during the "fat Elvis" days. All I remember about the concert was seeing many Elvis impersonators walking around.
