Default Things this old Boomer has learnt (join in)

Driving to the gym today, and later in the changing room, I observed these :

1. When looking for a place in a car park (parking lot) - seeing a woman approaching her car, does NOT mean that the place will be free any time soon!

2. If you are 30 or more years older than two guys talking in the changing room, you should not expect to understand anything they say to each other!

What pearls of wisdom can you add!

1. There is truly nothing new under the sun.
2. I sure was better looking when I was 18.

I've reached an age where I never miss an opportunity to pee, and never trust a fart - but try to exercise dignity in either circumstance.

I'm almost 70 and have been telling my 32 year old son for quite some time that I knew more about women when I was his age than I do now. The older I get, the more I realize the things I neither know nor understand about the opposite gender. When you're in your 20s, you live in blissful ignorance and don't know what you don't know...

1. A dog is always on the wrong side of the door.

2. If you go swimming with sharks, take a slower swimmer with you.

Trying to flirt gradually becomes being creepy as you age.

The cute girl who checks me in at the pool doesn’t think I’m hot - she’s smiling and friendly because I’m grandfather-ly.
