Default Brondel A2 Build Cuban Hog/German Spruce

This is build that Laurent started for me in March. I'm a little late in sharing build photos so I figured I would catch up all in one post.

This will be A2 cutaway with Cuban Mahogany back and sides with minimal run out German Spruce top. Bridge, fingerboard, bindings & head plate all in Brazilian Rosewood. Scale length 26.6, nut width 1 3/4 with 2 5/16 spring spacing. Expecting delivery on this sweet looking guitar by end of May

Looking fantastic. Cuban Mahogany is a great tonewood.

Great looking one!

Curious about the scale length. Is it a typo or are you indeed going for 26.6?

Cheers,
Tom

Well, you know I speak from experience when I say German Spruce over Cuban Mahogany is a wonderful combination. And a Brondel …. you lucky slob!

It seems to take Laurent about a week to build a guitar.

I have had the good fortune to play two Brondel guitars, and they were both superlative. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the build and "hearing" what you think of it once it's in your hands!
