Great! That'll be here in a couple weeks. You're going to love it. Tom's guitars rock and the Artist series I tired at Healdsburg were really special.

Kindly,
Danny

P.S. I had never heard of Stage-it and I just checked it out, looks very cool!

Beautiful guitar, Edward, and I'm intrigued by your wood combination. I'm looking forward to hearing an audio post when it's done!

StageIt is a fantastic venue to present music to us. Doug Young has done several of these, and I've enjoyed each one. Pete Huttlinger has also done a couple. I encourage any player out there to give it a shot. Danny, we would love to see a StageIt concert from you.

The wood choice was an interesting decision, actually. I decided to steer away from more gourmet woods and stick with an old reliable combo: mahogany/cedar. I simply love the balanced sound of that combo on my Lowden, and I love the light weight of mahogany guitars. They just feel so responsive....so I thought I'd give it a shot. I am sure Tom will work wonders with it!

Thanks for sharing! I would be totally confident in the hog/cedar combo.... I had one of Tom's in my hands recently in the same woods, it was like the guitar was plugged in, totally responsive and amazing feel in my fingertips... I have a Doerr on order as well, this is Exciting huh!!! Congrats!

That color combo looks familiar...Love it! beautiful honey color of the Mahogany...plus one of the benefits of having a Mahogany/Cedar combo is the beautiful smell of the guitar as you pull it out of the case to play!!! Plus the evenness of the sound is amazing...Enjoy!
