It’s all good. No worries.
Just being cordial to the OP. And I think you're spot on.

And I've played $200 guitars that have better necks than a Strat Professional.

Go figure.....
Ya well lemme tell ya a Superduty drives very different from an SR5
But actually it was intended as humor about the verbiage "kept up" which is pretty vague, so no need to get all serious

I have nice guitars. I also have a very cheap Ibanez AC-240 I bought specifically for playing outside. If I ever need an acoustic for a gig, I don't want to bring my nice Taylor so I added a K&K Pure Mini and then an external LRBaggs gigPro pre-amp to this Ibanez.

For fingerstyle acoustic tone, it can't even come close to my Taylor GC7.

But for playing classic rock and pop songs, through my Fender modeling amp, I would argue that this cheap acoustic sounds as good as any guitar out there!

I have it set up just the way I like and it plays perfectly for me, so my $200 acoustic can keep up with the best of them when "the rubber meets the road" (to extend the truck analogy).

I owned a Faded LP studio and it was a solid guitar through and through and had the signature LP sound. Only reason I don't have it any more is I upgraded to an LP standard and the LP studio became redundant.

LPs can be had for budget friendly prices for sure...you just have to look around.

Yea, those faded LPs can be fantastic. Same with the SGs. Some good prices can be found.
