Hi Gerhard!

Thanks so much for the kind words! I'm gratified that you feel the recording came out well! And thanks for the kind words on the guitar. I am fortunate to have it. I bought this used from an AGF acquaintance who lives in Portland, Oregon a few years ago.

Another classic done very well, Glenn. This one has been in my regular setlist for a while now. Everyone knows it and likes to sing along with the chorus!

Thanks for sharing. Beautiful guitar!

Thank you Marty!

Yes, I figured you would know this song! It's good to know it's still a crowd favorite after all these years! I'm glad you feel that I did okay with this! I hope you are well!

I'm also glad you like the guitar!

Good job, Glenn. This is one that I’ve always meant to learn, but just haven’t done so yet. You have good energy on this one. And the guitar does sound fabulous.

Waiting for Spring here in Michigan... losing patience, however 😳.

Thank you Roger!

Thanks very much for watching and taking the time to comment! I did make a tutorial on this song which is HERE in case you are interested.

I have a brother living in Michigan near the eastern edge of Lake Michigan (near Whitehall), and he is feeling the same way as you are. He gets lots of snow there. I am very sympathetic, Roger. I hope things improve for you very soon!

Thanks again for your comments and stay warm!

Wonderful, Glenn, just wonderful!! And a beautiful guitar, as well.

I remember when Loggins & Messina released Danny's Song and it was an instant hit that I had to learn to play. I never could sing good enough to play it for anyone but I used to love playing it anyway. Looks like you've cooked up another one that I need to dust off, at least just to play around on a few times.

Hi David!

Thanks so much! I always appreciate hearing from you! Yes, I remember when they came out with this song, too, and I had the same reaction as you. Even then, and in 1970 I was 22 years old, I still had trouble hitting those high F# notes that Kenny Loggins hit. He sure had a great tenor voice!

I just did a tutorial that is also in Show & Tell on how to play this song in the key of C that drops those high notes a couple of notches and makes it a whole lot easier to sing, at least for me. You may be interested in checking the tutorial video out.

Thanks David -- I hope you are well!!
