Agreed 100%

Also, there's no harm in maintaining a little exclusivity. If you take Collings, for example, even being a "small factory" setting, Bill is so confident of the workmanship coming out of his "workshop" that no archtops are offered below $12,000, if I'm not mistaken. In that light, $5,500 for a one-man-show is extremely reasonable, if not a downright steal, IMO.

Stuart--At this price point, you could re-christen this the "Steal City"! --R.

Thanks guys. I appreciate it. Looking forward to the memphis show and having some people get an opportunity to play these. If You will be there, Paul Asbel will be playing the amber one with the art deco theme.

As a former Pixburgher, I tip my (hard)hat to you. The tailpiece is one of the coolest I've ever seen, the F-holes are soo elegant and the headstock inlay is spectacular. Oh, and the rest of the guitar is gorgeous. All in all, certainly one of the most subtly beautiful guitars I've seen in a while. I wish you much success!

Default sound clips

thanks everyone for the kind words.

Here is a link to a youtube video of the natural one being played by an insanely talented Ken Karsh. Ken teaches jazz guitar at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh in addition to his various gigs.
