Sounds like Greensleeves, is this tune some kind of a remake? Anyways, it's lovely, very well played.

Not exactly "Holiday Cheer", but this song came to me in December, years ago, ... so it always reminds me of winter.

This, from my album, "Behind the Mask", is the final song on the record, "I Want You With Me"... recorded after a 14 hour day of recording all the rhythm tracks for all the songs on the disc, I was entreated by the bassist, Dennis Murphy, to "play that one where you just want 12 string and bass...".

We did one take and I didn't like it, didn't think it was "good enough" for the record. Dennis Murphy told me to give it a few days and listen to it again; so I did... and I changed my mind.

Hope you like it!

...hardly ruined it, themissal.

Great, natural performance!
Nice playing, good vocals and surprising quality from your iPhone.

I really enjoyed it!

Fantastic!!! What Child is This / Greensleeves is one of my favorite Christmas songs. You did a great job on it. Did you come up with that rendition yourself?

Default A Winter Blues by Hank Williams

Williams died on January 1, 1953. Weary Blues from Waitin’ was released as a single later that same year and would again appear on the album, Moanin’ the Blues in 1956.

Now the snow blows round my window
But it can't chill my heart
God knows it died the day you left
The day my dream world fell apart

I'm stealing heavily from Steve Goodman’s 1977 version. Production details on the SoundCloud page.
