So it’s been about a week and the guitar just sounds better and better. It’s got so much guts, so much growl and yet so much sparkle.

I’m trying out my song repertoire and as always some work really well on 12 strings, some less so, but its a lot of fun.

Strung with Martin Retro Monel .10s. These are a personal favourite on 12 strings. I find they give a really nice rumble and growl in the bass and balance the trebles nicely.

I am tempted to tune down a step and go up a gauge in strings. I usually get a couple of months out of a set of these Monels so maybe I will when it’s time to change them.

I knew I liked this guitar from the first strum, but I am absolutely beginning to love it now. I can totally see why the Guild 12ers have their (very well earned) reputation now that I have had one in my hands.

I haven't put my Guild F512 down since I bought it. I must have played 12 hours of 12 string in a few days. And, somehow my hands don't hurt. I know your joy finding this instrument. Great choice. I wish I had found this specific guitar years ago. Enjoy yours!

Two happy new members of our F512 club in the last month! I hadn't commented on this thread - very remiss, I know. However, I had to comment on your demo: Mr Lightfoot would be impressed! (and the guitar looks great , too!) Many congrats and enjoy!

That’s amongst the nicest things anyone has ever said to me! Seriously you made my day.
