Default Anyone use a slide on carbon strings?

I'm interested in the idea and was wondering what type of slide you use and what strings you use.

I have a cheap pyrex slide here and was wondering if a heavier steel slide would be better. I've been looking at Wolfram slides, but the tungsten slide, at 200g appears a bit heavy for my little finger.

I use Savarez Alliance.

Tried it. Not enthused. Glass and ceramic are better than brass, but ymmv.

Sometimes on resonator tenor ukulele for blues. Again, glass or ceramic.

Thomastik-Infeld offers several unusual string types for classicals, likely producing a sharper tone with a slide.

Default slide on nylon

i do it from time to time on any nylon string guitar

here, on a 1930's all-birch supertone (harmony) that i restored and converted to nylon strings...the slide is a steel one i've had for decades, forgot what brand it is...open G tuning

Interesting video Jane. So you play the guitar like Elizabeth Cotton.

I think I'll have to try a metal slide, and see what it sounds like with a bit of practice.

I've tried, using a brass Mighty Mite from the '70s and a thick-wall Dunlop. Thunk, thunk, thunk.
