Default Celtic Fingerstyle - Citi na gCumman

This tune is in DADGAD - I've always liked the melody and love to play in this tunning. Anyone else a DADGAD player? Thanks for watching.

Default Very nice

Great playing and a wonderful tune!

By any chance do you have the tab for this song that you could share as I'd love to give it a shot?

Thanks
John

Nice tune!, Nicer playing!

I also like the sound of your guitar, such as it is through my PC speakers - however, I can tell it is a nice sounding axe? What kind is it? A Gibson o some sort?

Beautiful playing. Is that William Coulter's arrangement? I heard his version years ago, and thought it was one of the prettiest guitar pieces I've encountered.

thanks all for the kind words of encouragement! I wish I had created this tune, but I sure love the melody and the celtic feel.

Jim - it is William Coulter's arrangment and I felt the same when I first heard it.

John_in_Japan - if you'll shoot me your email either here through PM or youtube I'll try and get the tab your way.

jedimasterPaul - it is a Collings C-10 guitar with a bit deeper body - and your right basically their take on a Gibson L-00. It's adi/mah.

thanks again each of your for taking your time to watch. Great forum and I'm glad to be a small part!

Nice, thanks for posting that! Finally, some instrumentals! DADGAD is one of my favorite tunings.

Lovely. Very moving! I've only begun working in DADGAD myself, and am enjoying the feel and sound of it.

What is a *.med file? Which software do you use to open it?

Never mind, I found it.

Thank you.

I'm working on Robin Bullock's "Lost Hollow Lament" and John Renbourn's "A Maid That's Deeply In Love", both in DADGAD, and will give this a go on the 12 string once I get those under my fingers.

Regards,
John

Very nice! I've heard Altan's rendition of that song and always liked it. Very cool arrangement for DADGAD and nice playing.
