Default Those 12 Fret Rainsong Dreads made me JEALOUS so......

I just had to pull the trigger on one. I called Rainsong to find out who might have one in Canada, was told they had one CH-DR1000NS left in stock (1 of 4 made according to them) so I got in touch with Long & McQuade and a week later here it is!

Can’t wait to get home and give her a once (twice, three times) over.

I've got a Rainsong 12 fret H-DR1100NST, and you're right; they are nice. Here's yours on the left and mine on the right...

12 fret dread with the unidirectional top is what I think was once referred to as the "Bluegrass" dread. They only made a few and now are only going to make guitars with the unidirectional tops in the Concert Series. In other words....good find!

I’m frankly shocked they’ve discontinued the Concert Hybrid line but I guess they were a losing proposition for Rainsong....... They were a great deal for us consumers though!

Me too, but it seemed strange to raise the prices for a few weeks before announcing the discontinuation of the CH line. If Rainsong wanted to clear out inventory quickly, wouldn't it have made more sense to maintain the low prices after announcing that they were being DXed???
