Per the disclaimer at the bottom of the page, the voting has no actual input into whom they give the award to.

It was a tough choice. I'm a huge aluminum fan, or aluminium on that side of the pond. Still Carbon Fiber is more high tech than aluminum, so I went with Emerald.

How many times can an individual vote?

Once for each Emerald guitar purchased? Then I should get 4 votes........probably way behind Kramster...............

I voted, Emerald is up to 230 votes, 49% of votes as of right now.

According to the article: one vote per IP address.

And it doesn't matter anyway.

I voted for Emerald, but when they reserve the right to ignore the tally, you have to wonder why they bothered asking.

David;

Good point. But, if the overwhelming number of responses point to one entry then it would be somewhat embarrassing to not acknowledge that entry as the winner.

If Alistair does not win despite overwhelming #s I am going to boycott the hotel and stop using aluminum.
