I’ve had the great pleasure to play this fantastic guitar. So lively and fun 🤩. Smells like maple syrup too!

Brian,
Thanks for the update. Very much appreciated! Just out of curiosity, what is the nut width and string spacing at the bridge on your Model M? Tommy |

Brian,
I know it's been over a year since your last reply to this thread, but did your Froggy originally come with Waverly tuners? If so, what if anything was involved in swapping over to the Rodgers tuners? Thanks, Tommy |

Congrats on a killer git! The M is one of the few Froggy body shapes and sizes I have not yet played but based on my experience with the H and K models I can imagine how they would sound! I like the choice of tuners you got on it! Very classy!!

This is NOT my area of expertise, but I *think* they use a bit with two different diameters and the holes are sorta “step drilled”. The bushings on the Rodgers were larger than the waves as well. Edit: These may be a drop-in option - https://www.rodgers-tuning-machines....e-gear-tuners/ Last edited by usb_chord; 06-16-2022 at 06:07 PM. |

Thanks, Brian
One more question if you don't mind. Was there a noticeable improvement with the Rodgers over the Waverlys? Thanks, Tommy |

Another thing probably worth watching for if making that switch is removing the washers on the waverlies - it's possible to remove some finish if you're not careful. |

I missed this thread when you first started it and am glad you updated it so that I noticed it. While I enjoyed the beautiful guitar, the highlight of this thread is your playing.
I am stunned. |
