Default Godin jazz model

Anyone play this model.??

I read reviews both good and bad. Wondering how much of a step up it is from the rest of the 5th avenue line-up.

IMO overpriced for what it is which, I suspect, is why it didn't sell well and was discontinued in short order; by the same token, if you like the 5th Avenue acoustic and you're looking for a similar-feeling jazzbox, check out a Kingpin (non-cutaway, single P-90) or CW II (single-cutaway, two P-90's or two humbuckers):

Thanks, I've been eying the jazz. It's got a cutaway, single pickup.

The Godin models you mentioned are either dual pickup or lacking a cutaway. I have zero need for a bridge pickup

FWIW I've had 2 bad experiences with Eastman. Bought 2 different models about 10 years ago. Both exhibited severe finish checking, cracking and chipped easily. I ended up selling them.

For a few hundred less than what a Godin Jazz would have cost new, you might find this of interest:

Interesting guitar!

I'm off this afternoon to check out a locally owned used godin jazz that's for sale. Supposed to be in excellent shape, priced at $900. 🤞🤞

They're really nice. 900 is a realistic price for what they should have sold for.

I bought godin jazz for $860 last weekend. Its the flamed maple version in nearly mint condition. I'm in love with it. Been playing it all weekend.

It's exceeded my expectations. It came with Elixir nanoweb electric strings and I like how they sound unplugged.

Had one, sold it and am kicking myself. Wished I had it back
