yamaha cg-190s no serial number
dear members
i had a few weeks a yamaha g 228 at my disposal. never thought i go back to the wide necks. well just did , bought me a second hand cg190s i love it , one slight problem. there is no serial number , often it is stamped on the brace under the neck. nothing on mine, i forget to look when buying it. got it from a real nice guy, dont think its stolen . and the numbers sanded out? i looked with a mirror and torch in the body. and found 3 marks on the top. circles of half an inche with the letter T in it. maybe i say carefull maybe it was a kind of test guitar? will post pics later.

Made in Taiwan. Yamaha likely didn't place much importance on the model.

I was guessing, based on several vintage classicals (not Yamaha) with no numbers on the crossbrace.

That is very gracious, Harry. No need for apology.
